This flap about Attorney General Alberto Gonzales reminds me of President Ronald Reagan's forgetfulness when he was questioned about the Iran-Contra transactions. We later learned he wasn't being deliberately evasive, but genuinely couldn't remember because of progressive dementia.
I wonder whether Attorney General Gonzales may be suffering from early onset of dementia. Perhaps he needs medical care rather than criticism.
