It was dreadful news that KFPT, AM 790, has been sold and will no longer be a liberal talk radio show. That is my favorite radio station and I listen to it often throughout the day.

The talk show hosts accept calls with varying viewpoints and they are not afraid to air them, unlike the bombastic right-wing talk shows.

I hope there will be a similar radio station that will be broadcast in the Fresno area. I'm sure there are many Democrats and independents who enjoy listening to talk radio that is intelligent, informed and compassionate.
