Sick of the noise

I read with interest the letter from Janet Lynn Ballinger complaining about Brian Calhoun and dogs being ticketed (Jan. 30). She states that three members of her family have received notices from the police regarding barking dogs.

I say, "Hooray." I'm sick of hearing my neighbor's dogs bark day and night, due to lack of attention and affection. Too bad more folks don't treat their dogs, and their neighbors, better.
