I read David Bigelow's letter [Jan. 1] -- wherein he brackets the word "delusional" in quotation marks -- with amusement. Mr. Bigelow finds it "refreshing to have a leader with conviction, even if he makes mistakes, who is willing to be unpopular to do what he believes is right."

Someone "with conviction, even if he makes mistakes" -- isn't that the definition of "delusional"?
