Vaccination has been one of the most important ways to fight seasonal flu, and now, the H1N1 pandemic. I panicked when I read The Bee Oct. 30 and I saw on the front page in bold letters, “Vaccine shortage.”
Panic was my first reaction because I haven’t gone to the clinic for a shot for the seasonal flu vaccine and the vaccine for H1N1, thinking that I would be able to take it anytime. I am worried that my family and I would not be able to get the vaccine shots to fight the seasonal flu and the H1N1 virus.
This vaccine shortage will cause a great tension for families that won’t be able to get the vaccine shots. The state government, by funding vaccine-producing-companies, should be able to provide us with the vaccines we need!
