Too many school bonds

Wow! Look at your new Fresno County tax bill quick! Seems the Fresno Unified School District has decided to go to the taxpayer trough a little heavier than previous years.

Count them, yes, count them — 11 separate bond assessments for this school district. I only counted five last year. It took almost a half page to print them all.

I wonder if someone should go down and look at the records on these bonds? I hope this wakes a few voters up the next time this school district presents yet another bond issue and its union pleads: “It’s for the kids.”
