For anyone who missed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s quote earlier this week, she redefined a tax increase as a “repeal of a tax decrease.” This is par for the course, as the statists in charge have been redefining America at an astounding pace. Our president told us he wouldn’t have lobbyists on his staff. His advising team is replete with tax cheats and lobbyists. We were told Afghanistan was the “real” war. Now we watch as politics prevail over the lives of our family members serving overseas.

Hundreds of thousands lose their jobs each month, and the statists talk about how many jobs they’ve saved. Foreclosures abound, and they call it recovery.

Medicare, Social Security, and the Postal Service are rocketing toward bankruptcy, and the statists want to run health insurance. They talk about all the benefits, and all the money we’ll save. Who in their right mind would believe them? Every time Americans decide to let the government provide for us, we give away a little more of our freedom. If America continues on this path, the only thing we’ll have left to decide is which bread line to stand in. Then they’ll tell us we’re at Morton’s Steakhouse.
