As we debate universal health care, I have discovered a far more insidious threat to our beloved republic: public libraries. These dens of socialist iniquity threaten the very fabric of capitalism.
Imagine, people being allowed, at taxpayer expense, to read books, for free!
How are the paragons of capitalist virtue who seek to survive selling books to those who can afford them supposed to survive when under siege by the government? This travesty must be stopped.
