Making us numb

In the past few days, I heard President Obama refer to a mop he was using as communist, and laughed and said he was mopping up after President Bush. Then I heard George Stephanopolis refer to communism.

I think they are getting us used to the word so that we will not be shocked when we wake up one morning a communist country. What do you think?
