The Visalia Firefighters Association is proud to endorse Mike Lane, Warren Gubler and Steve Nelsen for Visalia City Council.
We believe they know the importance of maintaining a high standard of public safety and how that relates to a good quality of life. As professional firefighters, we are glad to see candidates who are committed to public safety and we are confident that they will show the same dedication to other equally important city issues.
While Mike Lane, Warren Gubler and Steve Nelsen are not running as a team, we believe that individually they each possess the knowledge and leadership skills necessary to be effective city council members. This is why we have chosen to show support for all three candidates.
They are not afraid to ask hard questions and offer solutions that will benefit our community. We are impressed with their combination of fiscal responsibility, accountability and back to basic ideals. They are focused on supporting local businesses which will help to stimulate our cities economy, while providing for sensible growth.
