Before I became lame, I used to wonder at the crazy people who take their wheelchairs out into the street to dance with the cars.
Now after using the sidewalks, I have come to see that about 10% of the people lack the simple human decency to provide a safe sidewalk where the less fortunate can pass without risk.
A man who has a nice-looking house without a safe sidewalk wants the world to believe that he is a decent member of the community. But his house says the owner could care less about the disabled and elderly. Let them take their chances in the road. He could care less.
