Tim Spangler’s Oct. 21 letter asserts that since Stephen Goodman lacks godly wisdom and mind-reading capabilities, his ability to correctly describe a “Conservative Christian” as an oxymoron is grossly insignificant.
Yet, Mr. Spangler has the audacity to proceed and claim intimate knowledge of Jesus’s godly mind and the Bible’s theoretical wisdom.
Sorry, but Mr. Spangler is no Voltaire, and it is he who is lacking the ability to recognize contradiction. Has Mr. Spangler forgotten the unwise are not fools? And that his Bible advocates the distribution of God’s funds also through monetary black holes, holes he so wisely mocks?
Rendering to Caesar leaves God’s needy with less of all things that are God’s, but rendering to the priests leaves God’s needy with even less.
God’s blood money was laundered by Judas, through the priests, helping no one in need, Matt 27:6, which now in hindsight makes a “Wise Conservative Christian” an oxymoron. Your Bible tells us so.
