So, Congressman Devin Nunes comes across as angry. For those of us who live on our land, if we lose our water, we lose everything. Don’t expect us to go quietly.
It is astounding to me that a few of the hired guns for Valley farm groups make it their priority to assuage the hurt feelings and bruised egos of the senators and congressmen who have compromised and capitulated on Valley water issues for as long as they have been in office.
If the strategy of these groups is to continue to have their spokesmen grovel, could they at least instruct them not to criticize those who are trying to get something done? The Valley has followed their “Neville Chamberlain” strategy for the last 20 years, and it has failed miserably.
