I was delighted by Dwaine Breazeale’s comments in his letter Oct. 22, “Community responds to food donation needs,” which stated, “The community showed up in droves to receive free fair admissions by donating three canned food items, resulting in the largest single-day collection of 28.35 tons of food.”
It’s heartening to be reminded that even in such tough economic times what a charitable and generous Valley we live in.
