Fresno Easter Seals golf tourney to benefit disabled

Easter Seals of Central California will hold a golf tournament at 11:30 a.m. today at Fig Garden Golf Club, 7700 N. Van Ness Blvd. A dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit programs and services for children and adults with disabilities.

Animal adoption day set

The Central Valley Coalition for Animals will hold Super Adoption Day 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at O'Neill Park, on Barstow Avenue between Chestnut and Cedar avenues. Hundreds of dogs and cats from animal shelters from Merced to Tulare will be available.

Mother's Day tea party held
