Madera County narcotics officers seized 8.2 pounds of black tar heroin worth $300,000 and arrested two men with ties to a Mexican drug cartel, a sheriff's spokeswoman said Friday.
The men, ages 32 and 24, were taken into custody Thursday on the 300 block of North G Street, spokeswoman Erica Stuart said. Agents then served search warrants at three Fresno locations.
Both men went to the Madera County Jail.
