Meth arrest made near Visalia school

A 26-year-old Visalia man was arrested Thursday at an apartment across the street from an elementary school on suspicion of possessing meth for sale, police reported.

The man was arrested about 7 a.m. on the 500 block of South Garden Street. Washington Elementary School is across the street.

About 4½ grams of meth were in the man's possession, police said.
