2 workers stabbed at Visalia hotel
A 37-year-old Bakersfield-area man was arrested Friday in connection with the early-morning stabbing of two employees at the Holiday Inn located along Highway 198 near the Visalia airport.
The two victims -- a 42-year-old female desk clerk and a 21-year-old male security guard, both of Visalia -- each were stabbed several times, Visalia police said.
The woman was in stable condition at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

4th arrest made in San Jose Halloween attack
Three teenagers suspected of attacking two San Jose boys who were trick-or-treating will be charged as adults.
Prosecutors announced its plan for the 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys on Thursday. An 18-year-old man has also been arrested.
The four suspects are being held in Santa Clara County Jail on two counts each of attempted murder. They are scheduled to be arraigned next week and do not yet have lawyers.

3 suspects arrested in Halloween attack in Calif.
San Jose police say they have arrested three teens in the shooting of a 12-year-old boy and the stabbing of his 13-year-old friend while they were trick-or-treating on Halloween.
Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said Tuesday a 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys have been taken into custody. He did not release their names or provide further details.
Police have said the victims were accosted by gang members but did not belong to a gang themselves.

2 San Jose boys attacked while trick-or-treating
San Jose police have arrested three teens in the shooting of a 12-year-old boy and the stabbing of his 13-year-old friend while trick-or-treating.
Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said Tuesday a 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys have been taken into custody in connection with the incident Saturday night. He did not release their names or provide other details about their arrest.
Police said earlier the victims were out trick-or-treating when they were accosted by gang members. The 12-year-old was shot and his 13-year-old friend stabbed when a fight erupted.

4 arrested in Tulare Co. robbery spree
Four Farmersville residents have been arrested in connection with a rash of robberies in Tulare County in the past six weeks, Visalia police said.
The suspects are believed to be responsible for robbing eight businesses in Visalia and one each in Exeter, Farmersville and Goshen.
Two 23-year-old men, a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were booked into the Tulare County Jail on multiple counts of armed robbery.
Visalia police announced that they arrested a 17-year-old boy on charges of attempted homicide in connection with the stabbing of a 19-year-old Visalia man.
According to police, an anonymous tip led detectives to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where they found the boy being treated for lacerations.
He was taken to juvenile hall.
A 19-year-old Visalia man was stabbed and critically wounded late Wednesday night, police reported Thursday.
Visalia police said Eric Rabena was stabbed in the chest and arm outside his home on the 1200 block of South Santa Fe Avenue, just south of downtown, about 11:15 p.m. He was taken to a Fresno hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
