A chance for beach volleyball competition in the Central Valley

Beach volleyball players from Clovis, Sanger and Madera competed during the second annual High School Beach Cup volleyball tournament Thursday in Madera.

The tournament was held on Landon Courts at the home of Madera South volleyball coach Steve Guglielmanan.

This is the first year the four-on-four tournament was added to the two-on-two play that started last year.

About 80 boys and girls high school players participated in the tournament.
