A Visalia man was arrested Thursday for allegedly selling methamphetamine, police said.

Sgt. Ozzie Dominguez of the Visalia Police Department said that a narcotics tip led police to believe that Jaime Garcia, 31, was involved in drug sales. Investigators discovered that Garcia was wanted on four other warrants as well.

On Thursday, detectives conducted surveillance on Garcia and witnessed possible drug transactions. Garcia was pulled over and arrested for his other warrants. A search of his vehicle yielded 1.25 ounces of methamphetamine and packaging material.

Garcia was booked into Tulare County Jail on drug charges and previous charges.
