Three men are in custody for allegedly murdering two men on July 5 in southeast Fresno, and police are asking for help in locating two other suspects.
Sgt. Dave Ramsey of the Fresno Police Department's Street Violence Section identified all five suspects as Bulldog gang members. According to Ramsey, the suspects murdered Aleman Ramirez, 39, and Jose Lopez, 31, inside a home at 3652 E. Mono Ave.
Ramsey said that Gabriel Ornelas, 23, and Alberto Perez, 27, were arrested Monday at a business in the 4500 block of South Chestnut Avenue. Eduardo Serrano, 34, was also arrested Monday, at 3603 E. Balch Ave.
Police are searching for the final two suspects: Matthew Porraz, 21, and Santino Moreno, 33. They are both considered armed and dangerous. Porraz is also wanted for a murder that occurred on May 2.
On Wednesday, the Fresno County district attorney formally charged all five suspects with two counts of murder with gang enhancements and one count of robbery. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
