Grizzlies Report for 7/15: Fresno has two All-Stars

Break time: Fresno was off for the second straight night in advance of today's Triple-A All-Star Game.

Star power: C Andrew Susac and RP Heath Hembree will represent the Grizzlies on the Pacific Coast League team, which will face the International League stars at 4 p.m. from Durham Bulls Electric Park (Durham, N.C.) in a game televised on the MLB Network.

Transaction: INF Brandon Hicks was optioned to Fresno. Hicks hit .162 with eight home runs and 22 RBIs with the parent San Francisco Giants.

Derby details: The Grizzlies will hold an open tryout from 8 a.m.-noon Sunday to select six of the seven participants for the Jose Canseco Home Run Challenge, which is set for Aug. 12 before a game against Oklahoma City. Costs are $29, $59 and $99. The seventh participant will be determined by an online auction that goes live Monday at fresnogrizzlies.com. Deadline is 5 p.m. Friday.
