Nike's star-packed video tribute to Derek Jeter is hitting a grand slam

The New York Yankees' Derek Jeter, who is retiring at the end of this season, will make his final appearance in baseball's All-Star Game on Tuesday night. Nike, or more specifically the company's arm that pumps out Michael Jordan-branded products, published a commercial/tribute to Jeter to coincide with the All-Star Game. Its YouTube video had well over 2 million views Tuesday afternoon.

The video features sports stars, celebrities and regular folk tipping their cap to the Yankee captain. Everyone from Jay-Z to Rudy Giuliani to Phil Jackson make an appearance, but we especially like the begrudging respect paid by two anonymous Red Sox fans.
