Free government-contracting workshop Thursday in Fresno

A free workshop Thursday in Fresno will focus on how to do business with the government.

The U.S. Small Business Administration and the California Department of Transportation will provide information on how to navigate the procurement processes and compete for federal, state and high-speed rail contracting opportunities. Also, there will be an overview of SBA contracting programs, including information for women-owned and veteran-owned businesses.

The workshop runs 9 a.m. to noon at the downtown Fresno SBA office, 801 R St. Free parking is available on R Street
