A man who allegedly robbed eight businesses at gunpoint in Visalia, Exeter and Tulare County was arrested Saturday, Visalia police said.

Sgt. Greg Byerlee of the Visalia Police Department said that Adam Johnson, 32, entered each business, pulled out a handgun and demanded cash. The total amount of money stolen in the robberies is still unknown.

The arrest came after a lengthy investigation into the robberies, which occurred June 25 to July 4. Johnson was booked into Tulare County Jail on multiple felony charges.
