Fresno traffic stop yields 2 felony arrests

A routine traffic stop in Fresno led to the felony arrests of the vehicle's driver and passenger Friday morning, police said.

Sgt. Tony Bustos of the Fresno Police Department said that the driver, Redfon Hussain, 29, was wanted for possession of a stolen vehicle. The passenger, Jessie Gutierrez, 34, was carrying a loaded handgun and drugs, Bustos said. Gutierrez is a self-admitted Bulldog Gang member and also had an active felony warrant, he said.

Hussain was booked into Fresno County Jail for the stolen vehicle warrant. Gutierrez was booked on multiple charges.
