Various lanes of Highway 99 will be closed Monday night and early Wednesday while a crane is moved, the California Department of Transportation said.

The slow lane of southbound Highway 99 between Avenue 7 and Herndon Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Highway 99 will be reduced to one lane in each direction in the same spot from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Caltrans said.

The relocation of construction equipment is part of the Highway 99 San Joaquin River Six-Lane Widening Improvement Project.

Caltrans reminds all drivers to drive safely and "Slow for the Cone Zone."
