Volunteers needed to 'hug' the Fresno VA Medical Center

The Fresno BeeJuly 10, 2014

VA Central California Health Care System is asking community members to join hands with veterans, family members, employees and volunteers at 7:30 a.m. on July 18 to form an unbreakable chain around the Fresno VA Medical Center. The "hug" is intended as a show of support of the health care system's commitment to serving veterans.

Immediately after the hug, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held to open the VA Medical Center's new 1,100-square-foot atrium.
