Fireworks crackdown needed

The Fresno BeeJuly 9, 2014

Each year we shudder and wonder if our house in the Weathermaker area will go up in smoke. We have neighbors who display their fireworks anytime of the day and year. These are the type that go sky high and the embers could catch a house or tree on fire. We need to have people out writing tickets and taking the fireworks away with a hefty fine.

It was much safer several years back when the city outlawed fireworks. We were safe then and there weren't disgusting people shooting off fireworks anytime of the year like now.
