Marijuana operation raided near Sanger

One person was arrested Wednesday after Fresno County sheriff's deputies raided a marijuana-growing operation near Sanger, spokesman Chris Curtice said.

The operation was near Shields and Indianola avenues, where the deputies found about 2,400 plants not ready for harvest, Curtice said. The plants were being eradicated.
