Fresno First Bank has record earnings

Fresno First Bank announced record earnings for the first half of 2014 at $1,004,000 compared to a loss of $991,000 for the first half of 2013. Share prices and total assets continually rose compared to last year as well.

The first-half uptick included first-quarter earnings of $595,000 (22 cents per fully diluted share) and second-quarter earnings of $409,000 (15 cents per share). This year's second quarter stood in marked contrast to 2013's, when the company suffered a loss of $1.16 million.
