Tulare, Fresno fair concert lineups taking shape

Eddie Money will perform at this year's Tulare County Fair.


The Tulare County Fair this week announced its entertainment lineup:

Sept. 10, Metalachi — The heavy-metal-meets-mariachi band from Los Angeles is known for its extended classical violin solos mixed with metal.

Sept. 11, Morris Day and the Time — The R&B/funk ensemble is led by Day, who has enjoyed a resurgence since an appearance with Rihanna at the 50th anniversary Grammy Awards show in February 2008.

Sept. 12, Eddie Money —The classic rocker, who turned 65 in March, delivers his greatest hits.

Sept. 13, JT Hodges — The country singer is working on his second album release, featuring the single, "Already High."

All Budweiser Stage concerts begin at 8 p.m. and are free with paid admission. Cost is $8 for adults or $5 for children ages 6-12. On Sept. 12, which is Senior Day, the cost is $5 for seniors 62 and older.

Big Fresno Fair

Also, The Big Fresno Fair is still working on booking shows Saturday evenings Oct. 4 and Oct. 11 and on Sundays Oct. 5 and Oct. 12.

Here's the Table Mountain Concert Series lineup so far:

Oct. 2, 7 p.m., TobyMac

Oct. 3, 7 p.m., Dierks Bentley

Oct. 4, 1 p.m., Emblem3

Oct. 6, 7 p.m., Beach Boys

Oct. 7, 7 p.m., Sublime with Rome

Oct. 8, 7 p.m., Snoop Dogg

Oct. 9, 7 p.m., Justin Moore

Oct. 10, 7 p.m., Gabriel Iglesias

Oct. 11, 1 p.m., R5

Tickets will be available as part of The Big Fair Fan Club presale at 9 a.m. July 30. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. Aug. 11.
