The Fresno BeeJuly 8, 2014

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a man's body Tuesday morning in a vineyard near Manning and Cherry avenues, south of Easton.

Farm workers disking a vineyard near the northwest corner of the intersection found the body in one of the rows about 7 a.m. and immediately called 911, the Sheriff's Office said.

Sheriff's investigators are looking into the case.

The body appeared to have been in the vineyard for several days, and a bicycle was found nearby, the Sheriff's Office said. A cause of death had not been determined.
