The Fresno County Sheriff's Office has recovered the body of a man who drowned in Shaver Lake just below the dam, said Lt. Rick Ko.

No other details were available.

On Saturday, the sheriff's office responded to reports of a swimmer who disappeared under the water, just below the dam, around 4:42 p.m.

Meanwhile, deputies have continued the search for an Anaheim man presumed drowned at Hume Lake.

Divers have been combing the lake since Friday for the 27-year-old man, who was visiting with family and swimming near Sandy Point. Dense vegetation has made it hard for divers to see and move underwater, a sheriff's dive unit supervisor said.
