Fire destroys Tulare County mobile home, threatens another

A fire that broke out at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday in the Tulare County mountains near Success Valley Drive and Reservation Road spread rapidly and burned about 50 acres, Battalion Chief Greg Neeley said.

Officials said one mobile home was destroyed and another was threatened. Firefighters contained the blaze at about 8 p.m.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
