THE BEE'S OUTSTANDING PITCHER OF THE YEAR: JACK LABOSKY

Vitals: Senior, Clovis North

Buckin' Bronco: Two-time Tri-River Athletic Conference Player of the Year and The Bee's 2013 POY departs for Duke of the Atlantic Coast Conference with virtually every major pitching record at Clovis North and ranked prominently in several hitting categories. Most notably, he won 29 games in three years -- tied for 18th in Central Section history -- and had a career .378 average against elite competition. Broncos went 69-26, including a 2013 D-I title, in his career. This season, he was 10-2 with a 1.45 ERA and hit .366 with 23 runs and 26 RBIs for 22-9 team that finished 16th in Cal-Hi Sports' state rankings.

He said it: "Jack will go down as the most decorated pitcher and two-way player in our program's young history. For three years, he gave us a chance to win every time he took the mound. He was also a stable force on the left side of the infield and the middle of our order. He has a tremendous work ethic with a lot of great baseball in front of him." -- Broncos coach Chris Patrick
