Michael Renberg will be president of Fresno Sunrise Rotary. He is a partner with Parichan, Renberg and Crossman Law Corporation.

Dave Chidester has been appointed as an exclusive agent for Horace Mann Educators Corporation. His insurance agency, Chidester Insurance and Financial Services, serves school employees in Central California.

March of Dimes has named Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer as chairman for March for Babies-Fresno 2015.

The Greater Reedley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 2014-15 board of directors: Pete Penner, Dennis Lowe, Rosemary Martinez, Dawn Barcellos, Cheri Bertelsen, Chuck Bohn, Dr. Sandra Caldwell, Susan Chapman, Gary Dodd, Juan Garza, Robert Huebert, Bobby Ikemiya, Wes Isaac, Karim Nunez, Stephan Schultz and James Shekoyan.

Home Health Quality Improvement, a national campaign of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, announced quality clinical performance of the nation's home health agencies for April 2014. HealthCare California achieved a 14.5% hospital readmission rate in April compared to the state average of 20.01% and the federal average of 25.1%.

Awards

Glenna Gates, owner of the Fresno, Bakersfield and Visalia offices of Spherion Staffing Services, received the 2014 Spherion Spirit Award. The award recognizes select owners based on overall contributions to the company as well as to the local community.

Clovis Community Medical Center's CEO, Craig S. Castro, was named Citizen of the Year and Clovis Community's Guild was given the Community Service award at this year's Clovis Hall of Fame and Community Awards Gala.

NCI Building Systems' Atwater manufacturing plant received the Safety Performance Award for 2013 by Metal Building Manufacturers Association. The company achieved an incident rate of 50% or better than the industry average during the 2013 calendar year.

New Faces

Manco Abbott real estate management has added two members to its team: Christopher David, property manager, and Nicole Santa Maria, property manager.

John C. Kimbrough, Jr. has joined Bank of the Sierra as vice president, senior real estate loan officer. He has a bachelor of arts degree in business finance from Fresno State and is also a member of the Fresno Association of Realtors.

Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group has added three new members to its team: Alex Jones and Cynthia Barrantes are based out of the Fresno office and Rebekah Wimer at the firm's Visalia office.

Promotions

Manco Abbott real estate management has promoted the following: Carrie Stroud, senior property accountant; Mia Quick, property manager; Debbie Gong, senior property manager; and Matt Spenhoff, senior property manager.

Premier Valley Bank has promoted the following: Josie Hart, assistant vice president operations support officer; and Sarah Leon, assistant vice president operations support bank security act assistant.

Donald Eaves has been promoted to vice president branch manager at Yosemite Bank branch in Oakhurst for Premier Valley Bank.
