Jeff Harger, Hanford West: Directed top-seeded Huskies to third straight Central Section title, and second since promotion from Division III, with a 10-0 victory over No. 3 Memorial in this season's D-II final. Hanford West went 26-8 vs. schedule featuring 10 D-I opponents, with victories over champion Centennial and runner-up Buchanan. Harger is 113-53-1 with four section titles (two in D-III) in five seasons as coach.

Bob Rooney, Redwood: After finishing as section runner-up four previous times, Rooney's Rangers broke through in his 20th season. Top seed captured first section softball title in school history, 9-3 over No. 2 Kingsburg in rematch of the 2013 D-III final. Rangers also won their first West Yosemite League title since 2005 and finished 25-6. Career record of 323-305 includes six league titles, according to section historian Bob Barnett.

Jeff Day, Caruthers: Led top-seeded Blue Raiders to school's second section title -- and first in 20 years -- with 3-2 victory over No. 3 Exeter in D-V final. Caruthers finished 26-6 and runner-up in the West Sequoia League. Day is 74-39-3 in four seasons with the Blue Raiders.
