Report: Chris Colfer's Twitter hacked; he will return for final 'Glee' season

Update: The Hollywood Reporter quotes Chris Colfer's manager as saying the actor's verified Twitter account was hacked and that Colfer will be cast in the final season of "Glee."

According to the Reporter, Studio 20th Century Fox Television also just issued a statement confirming Colfer will indeed be back.

Original story: Clovis East graduate Chris Colfer, who earned Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on the FOX series “Glee,” announced Thursday he has been told he won’t be on the series when it returns.

On Colfer's personal Twitter account, he posted: “Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly.”
