Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California wins three awards

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California received three awards at the organization's annual Leadership Summit in Chicago.

The awards were given for:

-- Posting a one-year retention rate for volunteers of at least 64%.

-- Retaining at least 41% of its high school volunteers for a year.

-- Successfully contacting more than 90% of all volunteers and families involved in matches for the year to make sure everything was going smoothly.

The summit was held June 16-17.
