Fresno fighter wing dedicates F-15 Eagle to Kingsburg

The Fresno BeeJuly 1, 2014

California Air National Guard's 144th Fighter Wing dedicated the second of its F-15 Eagles during a ceremony Tuesday.

The aircraft was dedicated to the city of Kingsburg as a part of the "Cities of Honor" program. This program pays tribute to the many cities that support the fighter wing.

With each dedication, an F-15 Eagle will don new nose art in the form of that city's crest.

The ceremony was held at the Fresno Air National Guard Base. A tour of the fighter wing was given to all attendees.
