The Fresno BeeJune 29, 2014

Headed the wrong way: Chuckie Jones' sacrifice fly to center field in the sixth inning provided the difference as San Jose beat Visalia 2-1 on Sunday, handing the Rawhide their third straight California League loss.

Wasted effort: Rawhide starter Brandon Sinnery pitched eight strong innings, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk while throwing his second complete game of the season.

One and done: Brandon Jacobs doubled home Alex Glenn in the top of the second inning for Visalia's lone run.

Up next: Visalia is off Monday as part of a league-wide off day. The Rawhide return to action at 7 p.m. Tuesday when they host Bakersfield to open a three-game series.
