Gunman robs Visalia drugstore

Visalia police are looking for a lone gunman who reportedly robbed a Rite Aid drugstore on Saturday night.

Investigators said the man, described as a white man in his mid-20s, entered the drugstore at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Akers Street, in southwest Visalia, shortly before 9 p.m. They said witnesses reported that he wielded a gun, made threats and demanded money.

The robber took some cash and ran from the store. Police said it's not known how much money he made off with, but added that no one was injured.
