Highway 41 ramp to Highway 180 to close for construction

The Fresno BeeJune 28, 2014

The connector ramp from southbound Highway 41 to westbound Highway 180 will close periodically over the next few days for barrier construction.

Caltrans said the construction will begin Sunday at 11 p.m. and will last until 5 a.m. Monday. It will continue Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The ramp will be completely unusable at these times.

Caltrans recommends that motorists use a different route or take eastbound Highway 180, get off on Cedar Avenue and access westbound 180 from Cedar.

The construction will remove the metal guardrail and replace it with a concrete barrier. These times and dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
