A Fresno firefighter was injured fighting a two-alarm house fire in northwest Fresno early Saturday morning.

No other injuries were reported.

The firefighter injured a leg while on the roof of the residence, said Battallion Chief Lawrence French. He was taken to Saint Agnes Medical Center where he was assessed and released.

Firefighters were called about 1:30 a.m. about an attic fire at 7287 N. Prospect Ave., French said. Five engines and three trucks responded.
