Teen stabbed repeatedly in central Fresno

Fresno police are investigating the stabbing of a teen that occurred early Saturday morning in central Fresno.

Officers said a 17-year-old boy was stabbed numerous times in his back and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with life-threatening wounds.

His condition was unavailable.

The stabbing occurred about 1 a.m. in the 4600 block of North Third Street.

The public is being asked to help identify and locate suspects. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867. They can receive up to a $1,000 reward for information leading an arrest and remain anonymous.
