Free HIV testing available Thursday afternoon in Fresno

In observance of National HIV Testing Day, the Fresno County Department of Public Health is offering free rapid HIV testing Thursday from 1-3:30 p.m. at the health department, 1221 Fulton Mall, specialty clinic area.

Free testing also is offered from noon to 3:30 p.m. at Granny's Park, 2060 E. Pontiac Way.

The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that one out of five people living with HIV in the U.S. are unaware of their HIV status.
