Rawhide Report for 6/25: Bakersfield 3, Visalia 2

Back and forth: Visalia jumped to a 1-0 lead Wednesday in the first on Brandon Drury's run-scoring double before Bakersfield tied things up in the bottom of the inning. In the fifth, Daniel Bowman's solo shot put the Rawhide back in front, but the Blaze again answered right back with a run to tie the score 2-2. Then in the 10th, Visalia's Justin Van Grouw threw a wild pitch and Brent Peterson scored to give the Blaze a 3-2 win.

Solid outing: Rawhide LH Spencer Arroyo pitched a season-high nine innings with six strikeouts.

Up next: The Rawhide will begin a four-game series in San Jose at 7:05 p.m. today. Visalia RHP Aaron Blair (2-2, 3.86 ERA) will get the start against Giants RHP Pat Young (5-2, 5.57).
