Read 'I Am That Girl'

FresnoJune 25, 2014

I have a book to recommend to all the women in the world: "I Am That Girl."

This book is written as an initiative to help women be and love exactly who they are, and to get women collaborating instead of competing. Society tends to want women pitted against each other, but truthfully there's nothing better than having a large support group of women around you.

Alexis Jones, the founder of "I Am That Girl," teaches you to find your passion and pursue it. She writes that there is a way to be a better version of you. Sophia Bush, who wrote the forward to the book, tells you that you can change the world for women for the better and help the next generation of women love each other. "I Am That Girl" wants you to know that you are beautiful on the inside and outside, and you can spread that beauty to others. It's a journey that I have loved taking and will continue for the rest of my life.
