Prevention is best solution

FresnoJune 25, 2014

There have been many suggestions directed toward our youth about living a lawful, and productive life, to very little, or no avail. My suggestion: All southwest Fresno church members, and concerned citizens, go into our parks, our senior citizen complexes, our apartment complexes, and on the streets where drug dealers, and prostitutes conduct their trades. It's very doubtful that the above mentioned individuals will come to us for advice, we've got to go to them.

We have our youth dropping out of regular school for home schooling, so they can be free to engage in prostitution, and drug use and sales. Some of them are as young as 14 years old. As we know, that leads to other crimes, resulting in gang involvement, incarceration and even death.

Friends, let's try prevention, as the Bible says in Luke 14:23: "And the Lord said unto the servant, go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

Maybe less welfare money and food stamps will be traded for drugs.
